A designated National Scenic Byway, State Highway 14 connects Albuquerque and Santa Fe through a mountainous region of prehistoric turquoise mines, historic towns, and eclectic art communities. Artists from Santa Fe, Cerrillos, Madrid, and Cedar Crest will have their studio and gallery doors open for the last two weekends in September.
