For over half a century, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta has welcomed spectators, pilots, chase crews and officials to the largest hot air balloon gathering of its kind in the world. Nowhere else on earth will more than 600 balloons launch into the air during dawn mass ascensions, with evening stationary glows lighting up the dusk, amid thronging crowds.
