The University Art Museum presents Trinities of Heaven and Earth, an exhibition exploring two central themes in Catholic iconography and Mexican culture: the Holy Family and the Holy Trinity. Curated by Olivia Juedeman and drawing from the museum’s extensive collection of over 2,200 Mexican retablos, the exhibition examines the spiritual and cultural importance of these small devotional paintings and their role in bridging the divine and the domestic. This exhibition follows a major digitization project that has increased public access to the entire collection, with a viewing tablet available in the gallery.
