About the Film:
Glen Canyon Institute presents What the River Knows, a new documentary from Good Intentions Paving Co. exploring the reemergence of Glen Canyon from the receding waters of Lake Powell reservoir.
As the West confronts the urgent need to redesign water management, we are offered a rare opportunity to restore one of the planet’s most stunning landscapes. The film weaves together past and present, examining this unique moment in centuries-long history and revealing a new way forward for the Colorado River.
Post-Screening Discussion:
Following the film, the evening continues with a panel discussion and audience Q&A. This is your chance to engage with experts and community members about the themes explored in the documentary.
