Music Director Roberto Minczuk leads the New Mexico Philharmonic on a journey from contemporary visions to grand romantic finales. The concert opens with Erika Benavides’Acequia (2024), a work drawing inspiration from New Mexico’s historic irrigation channels. Pianist Roman Rabinovich then takes the stage for the dazzling virtuosity of Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3. The program culminates in Rachmaninoff’s powerful and emotionally sweeping masterpiece, the Symphonic Dances.
