Step into a morning of musical delight and imagination. Music Director Roberto Minczuk leads the New Mexico Philharmonic in a concert perfect for curious ears and playful hearts. The program opens with the joyful interplay of Bach’s Concerto for Two Keyboards in C Major, followed by the courtly elegance and expressive nuance of selections from Lully’s ballet Le Triomphe de l’Amour. The concert concludes with the ever-popular Carnival of the Animals, Saint-Saëns’ witty and whimsical zoological fantasy that captures the charming personalities of lions, elephants, swans, and other creatures with humor and grace.
