Kalos
An Immersive River of Traditional Music
Experience the beautiful and ever-changing flow of Kalos. This acclaimed trio crafts music inspired by the maritime traditions of Scotland, Ireland, and Scandinavia. Consequently, their performances are always unique; like a river, they never play a song the same way twice.
The ensemble spans generations and geographies, featuring Ryan McKasson (violin, viola, voice), Eric McDonald (guitar, mandolin, voice), and Jeremiah McLane (accordion, piano, voice). They masterfully balance driving dance tunes with pastoral melodies. Moreover, their concerts are known for a spontaneous, high-wire energy. Therefore, attendees can expect a trance-inducing exposé of virtuosity and tradition.
