Plum Kuchen

Description

Delicate plums mix with a sweet handmade dough.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup flour
  • Pinch of baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cream or milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 89 Italian plums

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix together all the ingredients (except plums).
  3. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a 9 inch pie plate.
  4. Slice plums into halves, remove pits.
  5. Place plum halves, round side up, on top of the dough mixture.
  6. Bake for one hour.
